How to Actually Care for Your Sneakers

Most sneaker damage isn't from wear — it's from neglect. A soft brush and a damp cloth after every few wears prevents the kind of grime that eventually needs a full clean.
Rotate your pairs. Giving sneakers 24 hours to fully dry out between wears extends the life of the midsole foam significantly.
For canvas and knit uppers, a mild detergent and cold water works better than harsh sneaker cleaners, which can strip colour over time. Always air dry, never direct heat.
